I have an M4-108 in my Pearson 390 that has been rebuilt about 600 hours ago. I had the injector pump rebuilt by a reputable shop during which the pump head was replaced. I recently installed four NOS injectors. The problem is that anywhere from 1500 RPM's up, the enjine misses and drops about 75 rev's contiously under load. This problem has persisted for six years. While this sounds like classic air, I have an electric fuel pump and have many time bled the injector pump and high pressure pipes without finding air or improvement. I heve even tried making minor adjustments to the timing of the enjector pump, but without inprovement. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
