I have a 1964 35' Striker with twin 590 E, 330 cu in, 6 cyl Ford Lehmans. The engines use a mechanical right angel Smiths Tack Drive to run AC Tachometer guages. The nylon gears in one of the Smiths units have striped. I am looking to replace the entire unit or replace the gears if possible. Any information concerning this would be appreciated. |

i removed the mechanical drive off my 590 and fitted a vdo electronic tacho that runs off the alternator. |

Does anyone has some specification of this engine? What is the right exhaust temperature? And the prefered rpm's? |
