I just bought a 1980 Defever with twin 120's. I drove 100 miles to get her home last weekend. She ran strong all the way but i noticed the starboard engine oil pressure was running very high. The gauge was reading 80 and topping out. I was going to change the sensor. Any more suggestions? |

G' Day John,
Alot of gauges max out when you have a bad connection or lose one side of the circuit.If electrics check out ok- fit a manual gauge or move parts to other engine see if problem follows.

Check the grounds. Lots of guage problems from faulty ground connections. Dougs advice is spot on, but look close at the ground wires first.
