I have a 28' cape island boat with a 85hp lehman engine. It currently has a 20-16 prop installed, I also have a 20-18 prop. Will this engine handle this propellor? I get conflicting information from different propellor manufactures. 85hp (2400-2600 rpm max) 2.1 reduction |

what r.p.m are u turning with 20-16 prop and is engine making alot of black smoke.IF the engine makes r.p.m.s with no black smoke after a min or so it probably could handle a little more pitch. If you have the 20-18 without any extra cost try it. |
