I have a 42' Grand Banks Classic with dual 120 Lehman. Sometimes I cruise at 1200 RPM in an effort to get great fuel economy (which I do...3 miles per gallon) Am I hurting the engines. Occasionally I cruise at 1600 RPM, the motors seem to run very smooth at both RPM. |

Don, Not as familiar with Lehmans but assuming normal rules of opperation, I would have no problem doing what you are doing - low RPM cruising, but would run them up to their max power rating periodically. Change oil regularly as well. |
