am rewiring the engine at present as the old wiring sorta caught fire a bit! Bad insulation on the earth and power feed to the starter and they shorted, all got a bit hot and sort of melted the whole lot
unfortunately all the wiring from oil pressure sensor and temperature sensor was bundled together so that got fried as well
I've got the 2715e manual, but there is not much in there electrics wise... its the oil pressure guage I'm struggling to get back working... might be my rewire, or the sensor could be goosed. Any one know of any sources of a wiring diagram to th instruments from the engine??
also...
the sensor has 2 terminals on the back. I'm guessing one is a ground maybe the other the sender?? or is one for a low pressure alarm or something?? |

now sorted - stuck a bog standard single terminal oil pressure sender in the block and it works fine! |
