Hi my new boat has twin 2725TI's .. I have only done 1 100 nm leg in her so far... and I had a diesel bug problem so ran a lot of that at an idle on 1ne engine... but I would like to get a some reasonable grip on my range.. obviously not going to rely on the previous owners guess/claim
The Hull is 5o feet oal and I think about 46 feet lwl, weight 45 tonnes, beam 14.5 and draft ard 5 feet , full displacement... very comfortable cruising seems to be ard 1700 rpm in any sea and running on one engine appears to have very little impact on speed thru the water in the choppy 1m seas i was in (sea trials in clam water). I think that i average 8 to 8.5 knots at those rev's.
Any serious thoughts about fuel consumption... i was carring about 1200 litres of fuel... the previous owner claimed she ran about about 40 litres per hour but i cant see a reasonable log record on board
