What is the cruise RPM, max RPM, and idle RPM of a 120hp Lehman. What's the amount of torque with the above will be great. Or a graph of the torque curve will be great. Can the Lehman be over reved? Some diesel have a automatic limiter with RPM making it impossiable to over rev the engine....TIA Bill |

I have owned three Lehman diesels. An 80, 90, and 120. The best rpm to run the engine is at 1750 rpm. Running light I ran at 1750 and pushing a barge it was 2000. Had the Super 90 natural in my Crosby Tug and it is still running after 23 years. Mass Maritime has the tug now and they push a 40-foot barge. Good luck. Fred Tugalert@comcast.net |
