I have a 43' yacht with a 4jh2e and a KM4a gearbox. The engine was fitted in around 1994 but I don't have any paperwork. I want to fit a new feathering prop but need my gearbox ratio for correct sizing. Is there anyway I can ascertain the gb ratio from the serial numbers etc or should it be stated on the casing somewhere? |

Hello Nigel,
You will have to look on the case, seldom do they include that information unless you have the bill of sale. The info tag will be on the side of the gear box.
