My transmission occasionally starts to slightly shift out of forward gear. Pulling up on the gearshift eliminates the problem for a while. I've adjusted the cable about as far as it will go, without any change. Reverse works perfect, even after the adjustment. The suggestions I've been given so far are to install a new cable (may have it stretched??), change the cable attachmet to the hole at the very end of the shift arm, and to have the transmission rebuilt
Any other suggestions or thoughts on what my problem might be?? |
