I didn't see this post so I am sending again. Please ignore if it comes through twice. My 3116s are working fine in our 38' Cruisers boat. I've had to leave the boat for two months and haven't had the boat out. I have the bottom and props cleaned every month (Florida). I took the boat out yesterday and couldn't get the boat on plane. Since the bottom was just cleaned I don't think that is the problem. Both engines would not accelerate past about 2000 RPM. Both will spool to 2800 easily in neutral. There is no excessive black smoke, and they don't have any miss - they just won't accelerate and produce power. No maintenance has been done on the engines to cause any problem. Any idea where to start looking?
