I have a 1954 vintage cruiser with twin 471's linked to Allison M Series transmissions (original installations). One of these transmissions has begun having low oil pressure (40 lbs) especially in reverse. The other side has alwasy had very black oil, even shortly after changing. Any suggestions on repairs would be greatly appreciated, and any ideas on where to find a service manual for the transmissions would be terrific.

check phone book in your area for detroit diesel dealer/ distributer they can get you a book. |
