How reliable are rebuilds on 671's assuming they are done correctly and how many hours should I expect. I'm considering re-powering but the cost is tough to justify. |

6-71's are pretty reliable, and dang near bulletproof. I'd guesstimate 3-5K hours on a 6-71 Natural with N55 injectors in a Main Engine application. I know we get well north of 10K hours out of the 6-71 Natural gensets on our tugboats. |
