Does anyone out there have a rough idea what fuel consumption is on 8v71 320 HP marine engine?

I have no idea what RPM's they're running at but I can tell you they're pushing a 140' 392 GRT boat to 10 knots through TwinDisc MG512's with 2.0:1 reduction.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Marvin;

I'm looking at a 60' pacemaker with a 16' beam. It has twin 8v71 300hp diesels. You seem quite knowledgeable...Can one run 1 of these diesels at a time without an imbalance? Do you have an idea regarding GPH running 1 or both at once? I've heard that in general you would consider 1 GPH for each 50 hp.

Thanks in advance.

Nathan
