I have a young brothers 40 ft lobster boat with 8v92TA when first bought engine had 1500 hrs and boat went 25.5 kt at W.O.T.and cruise was 18 kt at 16 to 17 hundred r.p.m.now boat only goes 20 kts at W.O.T.(2300rpm)and cruise is 11 to 13 kts at 15 to 16 hundred rpm any ideas would be appriciated thanks |

dirt,e bottom,change fuel filters,check prop,check air inlet. |
