Sorry this is not a marine motor but its the same thing .
Its 3/53 High RPM 110 hp non turbo has a DW-LS governor.
What its doing is during the first 1/8 or so travel of the speed
control lever the motor dont increase RPMs like I think it should no load or loaded.
Soulds like its running out of fuel. New fuel pump ,filters , new lines, new fuel.
The RPM comes up slightly then when aproching 1/4 throttle then it Goes up
in RPM like I would think it should.
Its almost like it is trying to increase RPM but like has a hesatation
or a miss.
The rack looks like it moves freely , new fuel pump and filters.
Im moving the lever right on the govner so there is not play in the
linkage.
Any ideas?
Clould I just move the rack in the head to see if it works from there
ok bypasing the governor and see if its in the injectors?

Thanks

I frogot to say I had the governer off off the motor to get at the air box cover but put it back just as before maybe Its not in the same spot. but I would think there is not much play where it can move around.
I will call DD and see about the cost I have the book and 90% of the tune up tools but not run a rack before . How hard can it be?

I have detroit marine engines 8v92 and I'm loosing anti freeze even whe the boat is not running. I took out the heat exchangers and getting them cleaned. Could the root cause be from the booster coolers?
