I have a 1989 Hatteras with twin Detroits 6-71's 485hp. Can someone please provide me with info as to what these engines burn? I just ordered floscans for each engine. Also, when trolling is it wise to troll with one engine? I have heard that by trolling with one engine you can lower the trolling speed to 3 knots, and I have also heard that by running on one engine could cause mechanical/transmission problems for the off engine. Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.
