Also forgot to ask a few more questions. Which oil grade is best to use with older DD 671N's? I've been using straight 40 for the engine and tranny. Oil pressure and running temp would also be helpful. Just got another boat with 671's and want to make sure everything is in order before I venture out. Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!! |

oil pressure at f/l 55psi and at idle down to 5 psi, oil temperature 200-235. water temp 180-200 deg. 40wt oil is ok as long as it has a API CLASSIFICATION OF CD-II |
