Hi I just bought a 1971 58 hatteras powered by 12V71N and was wondering if anyone could recommend some manuals or books that would be helpfull in prevententative and regular maintainance also are there any upgrades that would be beneificial to increasing engine life. ANY ADVICE AT ALL WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE} |

Clean fuel, clean oil,change out anti-freeze. The cooling systems, if not taken care of can be a pain. Find someone to check the injector racks and reset if needed. Think about opening up the fuel tanks and cleaning them out. Replace any hosing that looks like it came with the boat. |
