Plz tell me its an air issue?My headboat was running fine till a customer can running up to the wheelhouse to inform me,that my star.motor(exaust)was billowing white smoke-this wasnt your normal start up an older diesl smoke.She wouldnt even shut down with the selinoid.I tripped the breather and that killed it.I fished the day out on one and am now tied to the dock.What should I do first?Thank you much in advance-would post more details but im watching a monster--will add later.Capt.Larry |

white smoke is actually steam produced by water in the cylinders, why it didnt shut down is a mystery to me, and why there is water in the cylinders, but white out the exhaust is a water problem |

not sure what to tell you about the smoke, but running regardless of fuel being available to the engine makes it sound to me like your blower may have an oil seal leak. oil forces into the cylinders and the engine continues to run... good luck. |
