I replaced the exhaust turbo on this engine and ran 750 miles with no problems. After sitting 2 months I attempted to start it again. Lots of diesel fumes came out the exhaust and it finally started. Smoked a while then cleared up and ran. At about 1500 RPM it backed down on its own and when I tried to rev it back up it smoked black smoke. Oil level appears to be slightly over full and intake filter is full of oily diesel. Is this an injector problem? |

hard starting from looseing fuel prime.black smoke mit be from a blown injector tip |
