I have a 34ft Silverton Conv. weigh`s 14,500lb dry. Dropping in a pair of 8.2 J&T`s 300hp in the spring 08, what kind of suprise`s should I expect ??? Has anyone done this ? |

Look at boat diesel.com for info on those motors, I have had them in my boat and swore by them, but they have become dinosaurs, I would advise strongly to reconsider, they were not good engines to begin with, but to start with them now is scary at best. sell them while there are still desperate people looking for parts that have become scarce, and invest in a pair of cummins or yanmars |
