MD2030D will not rev more than 1300 rpm at wide open throttle with no load; produces black smoke and autoignition noises; and gets hot. Have replaced fuel filters and bled injector pump and injector nozzles. All 3 injectors are firing. Engine starts easily with good compression and idles beautifully with no signs of strain nor smoke. Right new engine with approximately 750 hours. Fuel quality/cleanliness are excellent. Return flow is fine. Looked/tested for exhaust and intake blockage; found none. Problem came on rather quickly, in 2-3 hours of running and is deteriorating. Injectors are currently out for service, and will adjust valves on return. Any other suggestions??? |
