Hello all Iam new to this board and need a lot of help. I have a 85 29'Topaz the motors are tamd40b. The port motor runs like a sewing machine it could not be better. The other is just the opposite. It runs about 20 deg. hotter and will get up to 200 at 2000 rpm with a light vibration. The h/e has been cleaned out and new thermostats installed. new impella in the raw water pump.At low rpm 1200 it will stay at about 180. Sorry about the long post. This is a great place I have learned a lot already. Thanks for any help. Charlie... |

Check oil cooler and exhaust elbow for restriction of water flow. |
