I am new boat owner. The engine panel lights are not lighting up and engine won't start. Everything worked OK a few days ago. I have 12.3 volts at battery and 12.3 volts at the start/stop wires behind the electrical panel. Any ideas what might be the problem?

With the battery contactor off, I started poking around and pulled off the wires on each side of the fuse and then reconnected them. I flipped the battery contactor and the panel lights came on. The engine started fine. Maybe the electrical relay is getting stuck?

Jim, Fuse blocks have problem with solder joints coming loose at links and dropping contact. Also spade ends get loose and do same thing. If it keeps up, change fuse block and ends.

Thanks Dick. I will check the fuse block and clean up all connections everywhere to ensure good contact wherever I can get my hands on.
