The volvo on my Westerly has development a transmission problem - reverse engages Ok but forward is reluctant to engage when the lever is moved forward. So far it always has engaged eventually after repeatedly moving the lever back and forth but it's not right. Any ideas on what might be causing this? |

Sliding sleeve inside trans is worn. Needs to be replaced. Cone assy inside cannot mate. Slipping of sleeve and clearance problem because of wear. |

Does anyone know if the slide sleeve on a 120S saildrive can be replaced without removing the gearbox? i.e. with the boat in the water? |
