I have a Volvo d-6 310 with only 480 hrs. It ran well today, but when I shut it down for a short stop near town, it simply would not restart. I ran back to town on the kicker. I've checked out the fuel, loose connections and everything I could do and found nothing except a little bit of air in the fuel filter. I purged the filter and the engine still won't start. It cranks like crazy, but won't run. Our local diesel mechanic could not get his diagnostic computer to work. I need a quick fix on this thing. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and if so, how was it resolved? |
