I am having a problem with my engine in that the generator light keeps comming on. I have checked all the connections I can think of and had the alternator tested (fine). Has anyone had any problems with the indicator panel?

Paul,Did noy say what series you have but later models have 2 wires going to 61 post.Brown is from alarm light and red/blue is from resistor in black box. Both help energize alternator on start up. If resistor is not operating, you can get the problem you are describing. |
