With the impending loss of pink diesel in the UK does anyone know if the Volvo 2001 will be ok running on Low Sulphur road diesel? Notably lubrication of the fuel pump? |

Can't say for sure that it will be okay, but if you are very concerned, try adding 4 oz of Marvel Mystery oil to every 10 gallons of your fuel. It will bump up the lubricity of the fuel and it's good for your valves too. It's kept my old 1978 Atomic 4 running very well for years, and I use it in my Volvo as well.
I also run B20 BioDiesel in my Volvo 2002 - it has higer lubricity than standard road diesel. It's been pretty good so far, and the engine tends to be a bit quieter. I think everyone over in Europe is running a minimum of B5 now, right?
