Please help! Can't find u-joints for the Volvo sterndrive 100 Hello! I would like to buy a complete yokes with u-joints for the Volvo sterndrive. Volvo sterndrive model »100«. (motor Volvo Penta 4 cylinder 98kW, 30 years old or more). ( please see the picture on the link below): http://www.avto.net/mornar2003//ad.asp?id=74438 Do you have this part for sale? The U joints can be had at your local auto parts store. Just don't try Auto Zone or one of those. You can't find it in the computer so those stores are useless. Go to a mom-and-pap place where they know more than just what's on the screen in front of them, and take the old parts with you. The yolk, well that's a different story. Try Ebay if you haven't already. |

Marko, count the splines and measure the dimension of the yoke, they look pretty standard and you should be able to find the replacement from another Volvo drive that uses the same size. One side is still intact, so remove c-clips and pop out the u-joint....take it to the car parts store and they will find the replacement. For my 280 drive I buy u-joints at local auto parts place for $13/each. |
