I'm searching for positive id on a 2 cylinder 4 stroke diesel. the numbers on the block are 1023140 and 74141. no ring gear.
any guesses?

G'day Nathan, Looks as if you have a Volvo Md 6a 10hp@2400 rpm, it uses a belt driven DYNOSTART a combination starter - generator instead of a dedicated starter. Cheers Shakey. |

Sorry, can not help with a contact; iam in Aussie land they are like hen's teeth down this way. have heard of modified auto gen being used ,could be possible?
Dynastart= bosch 0010 350 004
gen max output= 134w.
gen cont output=90w [7.5amps]
starter output=1hp.
