Hi Fellows I.am planing to use my old good working aqad40b engine in my 28 feet boat. Before in this boat was KAD42 with E-190 Stern drive, that unit was sold from him with a following Transom Shield.
With my aqad40b I have an useless to small Transom Shield, (the hole in the boat is to big for that).
I own 2 Stern Drives:
1) 281 long leg.
2) DP-A duo Prop, (this one is from Gasoline engine, I think).
Now I.am planing to purchase a bigger 190 E type of Transom Shield and use one of my Stern drives with my old engine. - Can someone give me some hints about this plan? - Best Regards, Gunnar Geir

I would have rebuilt the transom and cut a hole for the 'old' transom shield. |
