hi all
this problem has come on very quickly ,from no problem to putting in it the water to try out a new prop and not been able to select forward or reverse ,I disconected the cable from the gear box and that is moving freely at the control I then tried to turn it at the prop but coundnt next I loosed the cutlass bering(boats a intunnel shft drive)because I noticed last time a noise was coming from it and tryed to turn the prop again but still counldnt it felt as if it was in gear? or was the cutlass bering jamming it or have I done somthing to it while turning it around when I was trying to get the prop off because it went fine before that?
any help would be apreciated |

G'Day jamie,
I suggest you break the coulping this will allow you to isolate the cause of your problem.What gearbox make and type? hyd or servo manual? Cheers, Shakey. |
