I don't know if this is a problem or not when starting the engine from cold the oil pressure reads about 2.6 bar, I then travel about 2 miles at slow speed to get to open water before I then can take the boat up onto the plane. Then the oil pressure gauge shoots up to the end of the dial and flickers from 5 bar down to 2.6 bar for about a minute then returns to the 2.6 reading. This only happends on the first time of going on the plane the rest of the day it reads normal. I have had the boat for 3 years and never had this happend before the engine hours are now coming up to 1350hrs and is regulary serviced. Any thoughts onto whether I should worry about this would be apreciated thanks, peter. |
