I am looking for parts for my son's MD5C engine.
This engine was built in 1981.I've contacted Marine Parts Express and 90% of the parts are no longer available.Just for an exemple a crank undersise bearing insert kit #875556 on special order from Sweden would cost close to 2000.$ and
a cylinder liner kit #875714 a 1000 bucks.To overhaul this engine it would cost at least 5500 CAN$.May as well spend that on a new one unless we find someone having these parts and not using them.
Most important parts:
1 big end bearg kit .25mmUS #875539
1 cyl liner assy whit the piston #875714 or at least the liner.
1 aluminum gear at the end of the camshaft for manual starting no number
Not so important parts:
1 gasket #838062 and #859115
1 piston pin bushing
2 con. rod bolts #463090
1 main bearg kit .25mm US #875556
I have the piston rings and the liner seals.
Very interested to hear about anyone having even just one item.
