I have an MD-11C with "factory" freshwater cooling from Sabre (Sabre 34). It is based on a double Johnson pump, one stacked on the other, in case this helps identify the system. It looks like at some point in recent history the pressure cap was replaced by a Stant 4 psi cap. This seems like a very low rating, but I don't know for sure. Anyone have a good idea of what pressure these systems should run? Thanks, Phil |

Partial answer to myself: The freshwater cooling system is a Sen-Dure unit. Sen-Dure offers two pressure caps in their catalog, a 7 psi and a 13 psi. I have an email into them for specs, but I haven't heard back yet, http://www.sen-dure.com/Marine.htm Phil |
