Anyone who has experience of loosing coolant in a TAMD 41 or AD 41? There is no leakage outside the engine, no water in oil or oil in cooling water. I have replaced the gasket between the manifold and turbo, with no effect. Now I need suggestions to go further. |

Hello Its 1 the turbo gasket where the turbo is attached to manifold. The old type is no good. The new type is 2 mm upon the flange of turbo. Its a steel type.Check if you have new type gasket and replace if not. 2. The cyl head gasket. Last update is 1999,but can leak anyway. One replacement and its ok. My theory is too bad tightening at factory as one replacement fix the problem even is engine had latest version gasket. (for example KAD43) Pls note all leaks can bee seen as brown tracers on block below exhaust manifold and under flange turbo/manifold. Regards Ingvar (3 cylhead gasket replacement so far this year) |
