I have a VP2002 (Prod. No. 868094). I have a leak at the hose to impeller housing joint on the engine side. In reviewing the Owners Manual I see there is a restrainer clip that connects the incoming and outgoing hoses, and it is missing on the engine. Will installing a new clip take care of that or do I need to replace the seal too? |

The clip was only used in certian generation engines. If your pipes have straps that bolt them to block you do not need clip. Seal needs replacing and possibly pipe. Remove pipe and check seal end for erosion. If it is eroded past seal area replace it. |
