I have a pair of 1990 tamd41b's with a total of 750hours fitted to my Princess 35. The reverse gear plate states my gear is a MS3C. 2.73:1. From my research it seems they should be MS4A. I have asked a previous owner of six years who states to his knowledge the gears have never been changed. From oil samples taken by a surveyor it seems there is exessive wear in the starboard box, therefore the need to sort out exactly what I have. Can anyone advise me if the MS3C was fitted to my engine. my information is that they were only fitted to the tamd40. |
