Hi I just found this site today. I have a problem with 1 of my TAMD31D engines I thought when it quit on me a short while ago it was just a fuel filter problem. I changed the filter ,primed it and the whole system went through the steps in the manual like they said. We have tons of fuel coming out of the injectors no air nice and clean but no firing or even any smoke out the exhaust. Can the nozzles be frozen by some chance I'm hoping it's not the pump? any help or advice is appreciated plus any places we can get these parts at the best prices is appreciated thks Keith |

You may have fuel but not enough to open injectors. No smoke no opening. Could be injection pump.Check that stop solenoid is not engaged by a short in wiring. Also remove and check that spring in solenoid has not broken. If solenoid is engaged you will have fuel but not enough pressure. |
