Just for S&G, I was able to pull the alternator pully and count the number of poles...necessary to compute pulse for adjusting after market tachometer. The number of poles are six, in case anyone, ever runs into the same problem. Also, I was able to convert the rest of the instrument on the old TAMD40A panel to be used with the 41A engines, but only after installing the old 40A's oil press check unit on the 41As. Don't know why, but nothing worked on the 41s until then.
