My 2000 Volvo MD-2020 is overheating when I run it at 3000rpm for a few minutes - the coolant waring light comes on. When I lower the rpm it goes off. There is water coming out of the exhaust. What should be the steps to solve this problem. I did change the impeller about 3 years ago and the coolant is full. Please help! Thanks Steve p.s. I also noticed the hot water comes out very slowly from my faucet...not sure if this is related. |

Greetings,Sounds like Maint. done 3 years ago needs to be done again.Inspect your Heat exchanger,Inspect the Riser/Mixing elbow,Check the impeller again or simply change it,it's cheap.Sometimes impellers spin the hub inside the impeller. Hows the coolant?Fresh waterpump okay and the belt good and tight? Thermostat ever been changed? Good luck, let us know what you find. |
