I have a Volvo Penta 2001 deisel saildrive in my yacht. It is salt water cooled. For some reason very little water is being pumped through the motor and out of the exhaust. I have checked the water inlets in the saildrive and they are clean. I have replaced the impleller and changed the seals in the water pump. This helped a little but there is still not enough water being pumped through the cooling system. What should I try next? |

Take down and clean the exhaust riser. Probably blocked water out-let. |
