Hi, we just purchased a brand new D4 for our boat. It worked fine the first 2 days, then on the 3rd day the check engine light came on and could only idle in. Once at the dock, we turn it off and it ran fine. The next day we went out it ran good for about 4 hours when the light came on again and could only idle in again. Anyone know what might be the problem. No other warning lights are coming on. Will be contacting a dealer on monday. |

The alarm is causing unit to go to limp home(reduced rpm) to protect itself. You need to get dealer to check and read fault code that will lead to repair solution. |
