Has anybody heard of a coversion kit for a Volvo 41A which takes excess fumes from the rocker covers & crankcase filter and redirects back into engine.
If so could you tell me how it works.

G/Day Ian
If you have the air filter housing? the small hole in the centre of the cap is for the hose from the rocker cover. I have an early DA31's so it don't have a breather in the rocker.... It only has a crank breather.
Regards

Ian,

Walker Engineering, the manufacture of the AirSep, has systems designed to close the crankcase. The units consist of a high flow washable air filter connected to a canister that mounts to the turbo charger or air intake. The fumes that are emitted from the crankcase are routed via hoses to the canister. The fumes are separated by the canister from the oil that is present in the blowby. The oil is drained through a check valve and hose to the oil pan and the fumes that remain are sent through the intake into the engine to be burned by the combustion process and sent out through the exhaust. You can see the AirSep system if you log onto www.walkerairsep.com

the later 41p take the fumes out of the rocker cover back into the middle of the airfilter but the oil in the fumes tend to gunk up the aftercooler and turbo blades so its better it just venting into a bottle for a cheap alternative
