I notice my 40 chokes down if I leave it @ idle. Sounds like a giant hand is slowly squeezing it slower & slower, until it stops. If I increase throttle a bit, it stays running & doesn't sound like it's laboring to do so.
We just completed a 1,000 mi. trip & had no issue with morning idle then.
