I have a Davis boat with a Vovlo Penta Diesel. Twice now, in rough seas, 2/3 of the oil spilled into the bilge from the oil dipstick tube. Mechanics could not find problem during intitial repair and it happened again even though the dipstick was well seated prior to starting the engine. Anyone else having this problem?? |

It is a 1999 volvo penta diesel, APD43 |

check that the correct dip stick is fitted with the o-ring intact |
