I have a new 7.4 330 hp Marine Power that is ready for the first oil change. The owners manual leaves me wondering exactly what oil can be used. In particular I am thinking of Shell Rotella T which is 15W40. I am interested in hearing the thoughts of the group. Thanks, Dwight} |

That should be fine as long as it is consistent with the owner's manual....no point is messing up the warranty on a new product by bad maintenance practice. |
