I have twin 350 MPI's inboards with about 500 hours on them. The starboard engine will, especially in choppy water, will throttle back on its own. Running at 3000 rpm, you can hear the engine as well as view on the tach, go down down to 2000, then 1500, sometimes 1000. We changed out the fuel filters, water seperators, but still a problem. It is getting more frequent. Does not seem to do it in calm water. Could it be a faulty sensor, bad fuel pump?? Oil pressure is good, temps are good. |

Throttle cable? You probably need to tighten the friction on your throttle control. When you bounce it slips. |
