i have a chris craft with us marine twin 454/350. the problem is 6 years old with no fix so far. the boat will run fine sometimes but then start very slowly to drop off in rpm's from 3200 to 2800. the boat runs fine at the 2800 rpm's but will not go higher. this only happens in the port engine.
all filters have been replaced many times, the gas tank has been pumped and filled with fresh gas, put in a new manual fuel pump, now has an electronic pump, switched carbs.,gravity feed gas direct to carb.,electronic ignition, took off the heads and had them ground along with the valves, switched resisters.
this should put you guys to work. |
